Croatian Adventure tour is taking the adventure theme to the next level – from hiking the trails of Plitvice Lakes and glorious Mount Velebit, over cycling and rafting in breathtaking river environments, all the way to exploring the Dalmatian islands by a private speedboat!

DAY 1 / Arrival in Zagreb

Welcome to Croatia! You will arrive at Zagreb Airport, meet your private driver and head off towards your accommodation.

There are no additional plans for the rest of the day, but we suggest going for an evening walk and dinner downtown.
Overnight in Zagreb.

Day 2 / Meet Zagreb

After breakfast, you will meet your local guide in the city center and explore the highlights of the biggest and the capital city of Croatia that breathes out The Austro-Hungarian history with its’ typical Middle-European architecture.

While learning about early times and how Zagreb was found by merging the old settlements of Gradec and Kaptol, you will blend in with the locals and explore plenty of historical sights such as spacious Ban Jelacic Square, Zagreb Cathedral, famously short funicular and lavish open-air green market.

Your three-course lunch is arranged in a renowned Croatian restaurant in the town centre. You are free to spend the rest of the day at your own leisure. Since Zagreb has abundance of museums around the city, probably the most museums per capita in entire Europe, we suggest taking on the tour of one of the most popular museums here.

Day 3 / Plitvice Lakes National Park

Start your day by driving out towards the oldest national park in Croatia down the seamless highway and preparing yourself for an exciting experience in the green wilderness.

Your first stop of the day is at charming Rastoke village, situated on limestone cliffs bathed by the waterfalls of Korana river, a river that formed the lakes of Plitvice.

Once at the park, pick one of the twelve different circular routes and see how mother nature outdid itself with this piece of work that made its way onto the UNESCO World Heritage list. Enjoy your time our in the nature and explore the abundance of stunning natural lakes connected by travertine waterfalls, all set in deep woodland area.
Tonight’s tasty dinner takes place at a lovely traditional restaurant in the park area. Overnight in Plitvice.

Day 4 / Quad Safari at Gacka River Valley

Today you will move out towards Gacka River valley where you will take on a half day experience of off road quad safari.

River Gacka is set in one of the most amazing and serene natural environments in entire Croatia as a part of Velebit Nature Park. This scenic quad safari will take you around the Croatia’s proudest conservation project where you will explore its unique flora and fauna and discover the natural phenomenons and cultural legacy of the area, such as Gacka Spring, Holy Mist Sanctuary, Air Museum, the Black Lake and the tunnel below mount Velebit.
On return to Plitvice Lakes you will make a stop for a late lunch at an authentic Croatian restaurant. Overnight in Plitvice.

Day 5 / Hike at Northern Velebit National Park

After breakfast, you will drive out towards Northern Velebit National park for an incredible hiking experience.

Velebit massif is the longest mountain in Croatia and is a part of the largest and most complex protected area in Croatia known for its exceptional natural value and biodiversity. Northern Velebit National park is recognizable part of the mountain for its experience of untouched wilderness.

Meet your hiking guide, decide on your route together and enjoy collecting new insights while making your way towards one of the peaks.
Return to Plitvice later that day followed by a free evening. Overnight in Plitvice.

Day 6 / Split

Day six is recovery day. After breakfast in Plitvice, you will drive out straight towards Dalmatian coast and city of Split where you have entire day to spend at you own, relaxing pace.

We suggest you explore the beautiful 1700-years-old core of Split and see sights such as Diocletian’s palace, Saint Domnius Bell Tower and Riva promenade, take a walk down the west coast promenade or moving to one of the beaches and enjoy a quality seaside meal or sip a few drinks.

Day 7 / Cetina River Rafting & Omiš

Meet your driver in the morning and drive off towards Radmanove Mlinice near the mouth of Cetina river and take on an exciting rafting experience.

Cetina river is the longest Dalmatian river that flows through different environments down its course, starting with karst fields in the north, followed by breathtaking canyons surrounded by tall stone walls all the way towards Omiš, creating many smaller waterfalls and rapids perfect for recreational rafting.

Later, you will move to the historical port town of Omiš situated at the mouth of Cetina river where you will have free time to explore the city that used to be a headquaters for pirates. You won’t need much time to navigate hundreds-of-years-old streets of the old town, but a short walk towards Mirabela fortress that overlooks entire town and the island of Brač is going to be highly rewarding!

Return to Split in the afternoon. Tonight’s dinner takes place at a special location on top of the hill, in a traditional family run tavern with panoramic views over Split, nearby islands and the Adriatic.

Day 8 / Dalmatian Islands by a Speedboat

After breakfast, you will meet your boat skipper in the port and get on board your speedboat for a memorable experience of sailing around fascinating and untouched nature of few different islands bathed by crystal clear Adriatic sea waters.

You will get the feeling that time has stopped as you sail between multiple destinations and stopping for a swim, such as magical Blue Cave on the island of Biševo, fisherman village of Komiža and glorious Stiniva Bay on the island of Vis, intoxicating Blue Lagoon on the islet of Budikovac and ultimately Hvar town on the island of the same name.

Along the way, you will have plenty of options for lounging and dining by the sea in incredible restaurants that serve fresh Dalmatian seafood.
Return to Split followed by a free evening. Overnight in Split.

Day 9 / Departure from Split

Meet your driver on time and head off towards Split airport for departure. Have a safe flight back home!
