This tour is designed for people who strive to experience a place they are visiting to its fullest potential. You will visit three different adjacent countries, explore exciting cultural landmarks of exciting cities and discover beautiful and diverse nature around them.

To make things even better, the trip has a strong emphasis on traditional local food and wines – you will visit some of the most intriguing restaurants and vineries in the area and taste a delicious contrast between fine restaurants, and more traditional, authentic taverns.

Day 1 / Arrival in Ljubljana

Welcome to Slovenia! You will arrive at Ljubljana Airport, meet your private driver and head off towards your accommodation.

There are no additional plans for the rest of the day, but we suggest going for an evening walk and dinner downtown.
Overnight in Ljubljana.

Day 2 / Ljubljana & Cooking Class

After breakfast, go ahead and explore the emerald-green soul of this city, settled on the flow of Ljubljanica river. Ljubljana is Slovenian capital city boasting with students and youth today, built around the river banks, with beautifully preserved Ljubljana Castle dominating on top of a green hill over the core of traditional European architecture with red-tiled roofs, historical and modern pedestrian bridges and many cultural landmarks spread around charming squares, streets and alleys.

Later today you will take a hands-on culinary workshop and prepare an authentic four-course Slovenian dinner with a local chef. The cooking class will take you through rich Slovenian culinary history and teach you all there is to know about fresh, organic ingredients for today’s dinner!

Day 3 / Towards Zagreb

Start your day by driving out directly towards Zagreb, taking on comfortable and scenic highways. On arrival, you will be taken to the city center to explore the highlights of the biggest and the capital city of Croatia that breathes out The Austro-Hungarian history with its’ typical Middle-European architecture. Blend in with the locals and explore plenty of historical sights such as spacious Ban Jelacic Square, Zagreb Cathedral, famously short funicular and lavish open-air green market.

Your three-course lunch is arranged in a renowned Croatian restaurant in the town centre.

After lunch, you are free to spend the rest of the day at your own leisure. Since Zagreb has the highest number of museums per capita in entire Europe, we suggest taking on the tour of one of the most popular museums here.

Day 4 / Croatian Hinterland

In the morning after breakfast you will drive out towards beautiful landscapes of Croatian hinterland and make your first stop in charming ethno village of Kumrovec, a birthplace of the last Yugoslavenian president Josip Broz Tito.

Your next stop is fairy tale Trakošćan castle located on top of a green hill surrounded by lake waters, lush forests and hills. Explore the inside of the castle ruled by former Croatian noble family Drašković and, if you feel like it, take a walk by the beautiful artificial lake.

Finally, you will visit pictruresque town of Varaždin, once a Croatian capital. Explore this unique historical place, feel the spirit of city’s history by wandering through the Square of Traditional Crafts and soak in amazing Baroque architecture.

Before return to Zagreb, you will move on to the nearby wine growing hills for a tasting session of local wines and delicious traditional food.

Day 5 / Towards Plitvice Lakes

Start your day by driving out towards the oldest national park in Croatia down the seamless highway and preparing yourself for an exciting experience in the green wilderness.

Your first stop of the day is at charming Rastoke village, situated on limestone cliffs bathed by the waterfalls of Korana river, a river that formed the lakes of Plitvice.

Once at the park, pick one of the twelve different circular routes and see how mother nature outdid itself with this piece of work that made its way onto the UNESCO World Heritage list. Enjoy your time our in the nature and explore the abundance of stunning natural lakes connected by travertine waterfalls, all set in deep woodland area.

Tonight’s tasty dinner takes place at a lovely traditional restaurant in the park area.

Day 6 / Over Primosten & Trogir to Split

Bid farewell with Plitvice Lakes and drive off towards stunning Croatian coast and Dalmatian region. You will make your first stop at picture-perfect town of Primošten that has settled on a small bridged islet, just off the coast.

After a seaside walk and a coffee break, you will move on to the outskirts of Primošten and take on a delicious traditional ‘peka’ lunch meal at a stunning, panoramic hill top tavern.

On your way to Split, you will make another stop for sightseeing and walk in the port town of Trogir, a historic place found by Greek colonists back in 3rd century BC that has settled strategicaly in between the mainland on the North and Čiovo island on the south.

Day 7 / Meet Split

Day seven starts with a guided tour of Split. You’ll explore the very core of the old town with a knowledgeable local guide, learn about its 1700-years-long history and admire the UNSECO-protected architectural sites both inside and outside of Diocletian’s Palace, such as the main promenade, the Republic square or the most distinguishing site that is Saint Domnius Cathedral with its bell tower.

Until evening, you have free time to spend at your own pace; continue exploring the old town, pick a restaurant based on our recommendations or move to the beach to relax a little.

Tonight’s dinner takes place at a special seaside restaurant near the ACI Marina and West coast promenade of Split where you will indulge yourselves in dishes of ambitious Dalmatian chefs.

Day 8 / Islands Escape by a Speedboat

Put on your swimsuits for you will have an amazing day hopping between three breathtaking Dalmatian islands off the coast of Split. Your driver will take you to the marina where you will meet your skipper, board a private speedboat and set sail for an amazing day out at the sea!

Your first stop is at Paklinski Islands archipelago located a few minutes south of Hvar island. The archipelago boasts with numerous turqoise bays, many of which offer serene beach lounges and fresh seafood restaurants to spend some time at relaxing, sunbathing and swimming.

Later today you will move on towards the town of Hvar for a cocktail break and sightseeing walk down one of the most popular seaside promenades that connects to historical ‘Piazza’ square.

Your final stop of the day is in Bol on the island of Brač, one of the most distinctive destinations on the Adriatic famous for its Golden Horn beach. Here you will visit the oldest Dalmatian winery and indulge yourselves in tasting of delicious wines made here on the island.
Evening of leisure on return to Split. Overnight in Split.

Day 9 / Mostar, Bosnia & Herzegovina

Start your journey towards Mostar in Bosnia & Herzegovina! Drive ouSplit and crossing the border to Bosnia & Herzegovina by a car, you will make a stop at Kravice Waterfalls – a beautiful oasis in the stone with about twenty waterfalls forming an amphitheatre lake below them.

When you’ve arrived in Mostar, you will enjoy a delicious Bosnian lunch followed by a distinctive dessert called ‘Baklava’.

After the lunch has settled, you will meet your walking guide and explore this small yet intriguing historical old town dating from the times of Turkish Ottoman empire, known for its magnificent Old Bridge going across emerald green Neretva River.
You are free to spend the rest of the day at your own pace. Overnight in Mostar.

Day 10 / Towards Dubrovnik

You will head off towards Dubrovnik in the morning, making your first stop on the banks of Neretva river to visit Počitelj, a charming stone city built on tall and steep cliffs by Bosnian king some 600 years ago as a strategic getaway, dominating over the river.

As you enter Croatia, you will drive through the Neretva river valley called the Valley of Life and make a stop for sightseeing and fresh fruit shopping. Next stop is picturesque medieval village of Ston – located within the longest defensive walls in Europe, on Peljesac peninsula. The town has been of enormous value for Dubrovnik republic for its natural salt production fields, and is also known for its delicious fresh oysters, seafood and local wines from Peljesac. Your included lunch is arranged at a serene seaside restaurant in Ston with an optional oyster tasting.
Arrival in Dubrovnik is followed by a free evening. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 11 / Meet Dubrovnik

After breakfast, meet your local guide and admire 1500 years of history that the Old Town of Dubrovnik has behind it. You will explore The Pearl of the Adriatic, wrapped up by tall medieval walls and forts, intertwined with narrow marble streets. See some of the Croatia’s most famous landmarks such as Stradun street, magnificent city gates and historical old port.

Spend the rest of the day at your leisure; maybe by moving to a quieter part of the city where you can find a good seafront restaurant or spend some time lounging at the beach.

Before the sunset, you will get back to the old town and take a cable car towards the top of Mount Srđ. Apart from enjoying a beautiful panoramic scene of entire Dubrovnik and the Adriatic sea, you will indulge yourselves in amazing dinner at a hilltop restaurant.

Day 12 / Departure from Dubrovnik
