Day 1 / Arrival in Podgorica

Welcome to Montenegro! You will arrive at Podgorica Airport, meet your private driver and head off towards the coast and city of Budva. There are no additional plans for the rest of the day, but we suggest going for an evening walk by the sea and dinner downtown.

Day 2 / Budva & Sveti Stefan

Spend the entire day in Budva at your own pace! Budva is one of the most popular destinations on the Adriatic, stretched along the five-kilometer-long coastline, known for its charming old town, string of long beaches and numerous contemporary hotels architecture. As a coastal city, it boasts with delicious restaurants all along the coast, most of which offer amazing seaside ambient and serenity.

Evening is reserved for a visit to nearby village of Sveti Stefan, a great attraction of the Budva Riviera located on a small bridged islet. Almost 600-years-old fort has been transformed into a luxurious and picturesque hotel resort, with beautiful pebbly beaches and some of the finest seaside restaurants nearby.

Your delicious three-course dinner takes place at a fabulous seaside restaurant in between Budva and Sveti Stefan. Leisure time in Budva afterwards.

Day 3 / Kotor Bay Hike

Kotor, or Boka Kotorska Bay is one of the most iconic places in Montenegro. It is an Adriatic bay enclosed by breathtaking tall mountains, arising steeply from the shores. In the morning you will drive out towards Orahovac village where you will take on a hike to a 750-meter tall summit near Perast town with our experienced hiking guide. A hike is moderate, but the view from St. Andrew’s fort is so rewarding that you will forget about the fatigue the moment you arrive at the top.

After 5-6 hours of hiking, you will return to Budva to spend a relaxing rest of the day at your own pace.

Day 4 / Kotor Bay

Other than stunning natural scenery, Kotor Bay region boasts with culturo-historical UNESCO World Heritage Sites with their value embodied in the quality of the architecture of fortified and open cities, settlements and palaces.

Today you will explore a few of those sites, starting with is an idyllic town of Perast, a city of nobles made almost entirely out of stone. You will even take a short boat ride towards ‘Our Lady of the Rocks’, a monumental islet in the middle of the bay. Your next stop in Kotor includes a local guide who will show you around this historical medieval city set strategically in a corner of the bay, surrounded by tall walls that envelop a maze of distinguishing alleys and squares.

Before moving on, you will enjoy a nice lunch meal in serene restaurant set in the old mills, just next to the mouth of a small river Ljuta. Return to Budva later that day for an evening of leisure.

Day 5 / Over Lovcen National Park towards Žabljak

Day five is when you will move out to the mountainous region on the north of the country. To break the drive from the coast, you will make a stop at Lovćen National Park, part of the magnificent Lovćen mountain. Drive up the hand-constructed road dating from 14th century while enjoying spectacular panoramic views of Kotor Bay to reach the summit where iconic Mausoleum of Montenegrin ruler and poet Petar Njegoš is settled.

After sightseeing at Lovćen summit, you will indulge yourselves in a delicious traditional three-course lunch at a panoramic terrace of a hilltop tavern.

On your descend from Lovćen mountain you will make a stop in Cetinje, a charming historical town in a valley among the mountains that used to be a royal capital of Montenegro. Another stop is scheduled further along the way for sightseeing of magical Ostrog Monastery, built into a vertical cliff and surrounded by stunning natural environment.
Arrival in Žabljak later today.

Day 6 / Durmitor National Park & Rafting

Encompassing the vast Durmitor mountain range along with bunch of magical river canyons, Durmitor is the largest National Park in Montenegro found on UNESCO World Heritage List. Nature lovers will find its’ playful summits, evergreen forests and glacial lakes, locally called ‘mountain eyes’, one of the most spectacular and relaxing environments they’ve seen.

Today you will take on an exciting rafting experience down breathtaking Tara river that flows through the Europe’s deepest and one of the most beautiful river canyons. After half a day and 25 kilometers of adrenaline and breathtaking nature, you will indulge yourselves in delicious traditional lunch on a terrace by the river.
Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Žabljak.

Day 7 / Departure from Podgorica

Meet your driver on time and head off towards Podgorica airport for departure. Have a safe flight back home!
